The weekend, two days of the week that everyone looks forward to. Five days of hard work ending with two days of relaxation. There are so many things that can be done in these two days. So many, that two days may seem less. It at times does seem less, especially when you sleep through most of it, then waking up to half the day gone.
Some people enjoy sleeping in, some people don’t enjoy sleeping in. Sleeping in on the first day of your weekend is good. It helps the brain to relieve itself of the pent up waste it builds up the whole week.

Your body is a machine which needs rest and activities to keep alive and maintain good health. The five days of hard work tend to take a toll on your body, making it stiff, as it is made to follow a schedule and sit on a seat for a long time. This also weakens the body, making it unhealthy. Weekends are thus meant to help relax and refresh the body, so that the next five days can get more productive. Your body needs to do things that it does not do during the week. There are certain activities that you can do to relax the body and charge its battery.
Energise the Body
There are many activities that can be done to rest the body and increase its productivity. Clocking your body to things that are different from what you do during the five days is one way. Getting some hobby is another way to help the body and mind. A hobby is very helpful for the mind, as it is a way the brain loses the sense of being stuck in a cubicle and feels free. These hobbies help the brain deviate from the monotonous weekdays and find joy in activities. When the brain is relaxed, the body is too.
Sometimes travelling is a good way to relax. Visiting a good calm area brings about freshness to the body. Going up a hill, a valley or a forest can be taken as an option. These places are good as they are filled with trees and shrubs which provide fresh air and tons of oxygen. This air filled with oxygen fills the blood and rejuvenates every cell in your body. And that is what your body needs, a couple of days to refresh.
